Booking & Consultations
How do I book a tattoo?
Send us a message through the contact form with your idea, reference images, rough size and preferred placement. We usually reply within one to two working days to set up a consultation.
Do I need a consultation before booking?
For custom pieces, larger work, cover-ups and anything that needs a drawing, yes. Small flash pieces can be booked straight into a session. Your artist will let you know when you enquire.
Do you take deposits?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. The deposit comes off the total price of your tattoo on the day. Deposits cover the artist’s design time and hold your slot.
What is your rescheduling policy?
You can move your appointment once with at least 48 hours’ notice and your deposit will roll over. Cancellations, no-shows or late reschedules forfeit the deposit and a fresh one is required to rebook.
Do you do walk-ins?
Occasionally, if an artist has a gap. Message us on the day to check, but planned bookings are always preferred so we can prep the design and materials.
Prices & Payment
How much will my tattoo cost?
We quote per piece rather than per hour. Price depends on size, detail, placement and style. Send an enquiry with the specifics and your artist will give you a firm quote.
What payment methods do you accept?
Card and cash. Deposits are taken by card or bank transfer when the booking is confirmed.
On the Day
Does it hurt?
Yes, but it’s manageable and everyone tolerates it differently. Most people describe it as a continuous scratch. Bonier and softer areas (ribs, spine, hands, feet, inner arm) sting more than fleshier ones (outer arm, thigh, calf, shoulder).
Can I use numbing cream?
For larger pieces, yes, but always check with your artist first because numbing cream changes skin texture and can affect line quality. If approved, buy from a reputable brand (e.g. TattooNumbX).
What should I do before my appointment?
Sleep well, eat a full meal within a few hours before, stay hydrated, and skip alcohol for 24 hours. Wear loose clothes that let us reach the area cleanly. Bring photo ID and a snack if it’s a long session.
Can I bring someone with me?
One person is fine. More than that gets crowded in the booth. Under-18s are not allowed in the studio even as guests.
Can I be tattooed if I’ve been drinking?
No. Alcohol thins the blood, affects healing and legally invalidates your consent. If we suspect you’re under the influence we will refuse the tattoo and keep the deposit.
Age, ID & Eligibility
What’s your minimum age?
18. UK law forbids tattooing anyone under 18, even with parental consent, and Liverpool City Council enforces this at registered premises. Bring valid photo ID (passport or driving licence) to every appointment.
Can I be tattooed if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
We won’t tattoo you while pregnant or breastfeeding. It’s an infection and healing risk we’re not willing to take on. Get in touch once you’re clear and we’ll book you in.
What about skin conditions, allergies or medications?
Tell your artist during the consultation. Psoriasis, eczema, keloid scarring, blood thinners, immunosuppressants, isotretinoin (Roaccutane) and some other meds affect healing. Some conditions need a doctor’s note before we proceed.
Design, Styles & Cover-Ups
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes. Send a clear photo of the existing tattoo with your enquiry so the artist can assess what’s possible. Cover-ups are usually bigger and darker than the original.
Can I bring my own design?
Yes, either as a full design or as reference images. Your artist will still work the piece to fit your body and their style. If your reference is another tattoo, we treat it as inspiration only, not a copy.

Aftercare & Healing
How long does a tattoo take to heal?
The surface heals in 2 to 3 weeks. The deeper skin settles over 2 to 3 months. Do not judge the final look until it has fully settled.
What is the aftercare routine?
Keep the wrap on for the time your artist tells you. Wash gently with fragrance-free soap and warm water, pat dry, and apply a thin layer of unscented aftercare balm 2 to 3 times a day. No swimming, saunas, sunbeds or direct sun for 2 weeks. No picking or scratching.
Do you offer free touch-ups?
Yes, one free touch-up within 3 months of your original session, provided you have followed the aftercare. Book it in the same way as any other appointment.
